The Community Power Networks (ESCO),  is currently undertaking a GIS modelling and feasibility study with the engineering group Arup to deliver its first template project - the "Bovey Power Company" - in Bovey Tracey, Devon, UK . This study is part funded by Dartmoor National Park and Teignbridge District Council .

When completed later in 2008, the Bovey Power Company feasibility study will form a template for the delivery and back office support of locally owned community power companies throughout the region. Community Power Networks will provide the infrastructure to enable the development, funding and aggregation of local renewable energy sources within its network of power companies.
